A gathering at My Little Farm as the year turns to autumn

Autumn Equinox · The Turning of the Year

Autumn Equinox at My Little Farm.

  • Saturday 26 September
  • 11am - 8pm
  • Streat, East Sussex

This equinox marks the turn from summer into winter. But first, a breath, in and out. A pause, a stillness in the year, when the light and the dark stand equal, and the wheel of the year holds still before it turns anew.

about the day

A day of thanks, shared together.

For one day, the light and the dark stand equal, the length of the day mirroring the length of the night. The wheel of the year holds still, and then turns anew.

We have done everything we needed to do. The season's work is in. Now we gather to give thanks, and to draw together the strength and resilience for the winter to come.

The community is the heart of this time of year, and this equinox we bring you our fullest offering yet.

what to expect

Stillness, fire, food and play.

  • Stillness, together. Meditation and wellbeing offerings, to welcome the quiet of the season.
  • Fireside stories. We light the fire and share stories, old and new, as the evening draws in.
  • A table from the farm. Delicious food grown on the land, gathered and shared at one long table.
  • Play and crafts. A chance for play and making for all ages, and all that follows.

This is the shape of the day so far, with more to be announced. The full running order will be shared closer to the equinox. Bring a blanket to sit on, and a heart ready to give thanks.

wind down

A weekend pass to the wood-fired sauna.

Book a sauna weekend pass and join our wood-fired sauna, nestled in the woodland, to slow right down and rest. It welcomes six guests at a time, a safe and deeply personal space where you can truly unwind.

Between sessions, retreat to the peaceful chill area with its hammocks, take an outdoor cold shower or a cold plunge, and help yourself to herbal teas and herb-infused water. A tranquil place, held by the natural landscape, where you can rest, breathe, and let your body settle to birdsong.

Your pass gives you the sauna whenever you wish, for one or two hours at a time, and for as many sessions as you like across the equinox weekend.

  • Friday, 5pm to 8pm
  • Saturday, 4pm to 8pm
  • Sunday, 8am to 12pm

A weekend pass, at a general and a members' rate. Add one to your ticket as you book.
