Co-owning Founding Membership

A place to belong.

A real stake in a working Sussex farm, a place among the people building it, and a standing welcome to the gatherings, the harvests and the life of the land — the most open way in.

what Co-owning is

Not buying from the farm. Belonging to it.

Most of us meet a farm as a customer — you buy the box, you eat the food, and the relationship ends at the doorstep. Co-owning is a different thing entirely. As the most open of the founding tiers, it makes you a genuine co-owner of a working Sussex farm, and a member of the community building it — without leaving your life to do it.

A real stake in the land, and a real place among the people who hold it — the most open way to belong.

A 50m² stake in the trust that holds the farm, recorded in your name. The seasonal gatherings, the hands-on days on the land, a standing discount, and belonging for your whole household. Everything that makes this a community — and the open door to every tier beyond it.

the Co-owning life

You arrive a guest. You leave one of us.

The most open of the founding tiers — a real 50m² stake in the land, recorded in your name, and a standing place in the community building the farm. You come for a gathering, or a day with your hands in the soil, and find you've quietly stopped being a visitor.

This isn't a farm you visit. It's a community you're part of — and a farm that's partly yours.

what's yours

Everything that makes you part of it.

Co-owning is the foundation — the most open way to become a genuine co-owner of the farm and a member of the community that holds it. A real stake, a real welcome, and the open door to every tier beyond.

01

A real stake in the land

A 50m² share of the working farm, held in the trust and recorded in your name — inheritable, and carrying a vote in how the estate is shaped. Not a corner you fence off, but a share of all of it.

02

A place among the people

The seasonal gatherings, member days on the land, and hands-on days at sowing and harvest — belonging for your whole household, children included, with guest passes to bring the people you love.

every year

Farm Credits

a yearly member allocation

Farm Credits each year, to spend.

Each year, members receive an allocation of Farm Credits to spend on food, events and stays across the farm and the wider network — a benefit of membership, renewed annually.

And the open door to everything beyond — Real Food, Good Life and Smallholder each build on the very stake you hold here.

your stake

50m² of the farm, held in your name.

Fifty square metres — your place among the founding community. Notional, not fenced off: a recorded share of the whole working farm. Here's how it holds, in plain English.

the share

A 50m² stake in the trust that owns the freehold — recorded in your name, alongside the other founders. Not a corner you cordon off, but a share of all of it.

the land

The farm stays one farm, worked and shared in full. Your square metres are your portion of the whole hundred acres — the pasture, the woods, the gardens, the lake.

the inheritance

A recognised, recorded asset. It can be left in your will, transferred to family, or held in trust — passing to whomever you name. The stake stays in your bloodline, or wherever you direct it.

the founders' guarantee

Held in trust before it's asked of you.

a stake before your money

We won't ask for the balance until your stake is recorded in your name and the land is held, asset-locked, in the trust. Your place is secured before your money is.

zero-loss entry

If the vision doesn't proceed, 100% of your contribution returns as Farm Credit to spend on food. You're never out of pocket.

pace with progress

Capital is deployed against real progress on the ground. You see what your contribution has built, as it's built.
