A Family Morning · Woodland Crafts
Summer in the Woodland.
A morning of seasonal woodland craft and fireside fun with Laura from Wild in the Woods — a nature hunt through woods and meadow, a craft to take home, a snack cooked over the fire, and a story to close.
about the morning
Seasonal craft around the fire.
Join Laura from Wild in the Woods for a morning of seasonal woodland crafts and activities around the fire. It's a gentle, hands-on session in our woodland — the kind of unhurried outdoor time children remember.
Go on a nature hunt through the woods and meadow, and make a seasonal craft to take home. There are simple crafts for younger children to do alongside their adult, and tool use for older children. Together you'll cook a healthy snack over the fire to share, and end with a song or a story around the flames.
Other activities through the morning might include a mini mud kitchen, a hammock, fire lighting, and bug hunting — whatever the woods invite that day.

good to know
A few things worth checking.
How much does it cost?
Tickets are ÂŁ17 per child. Children aged 6 and over are welcome to attend unaccompanied; younger children should be accompanied by an adult.
Can older children come without an adult?
Yes — children aged 6 and over are welcome to attend unaccompanied. Younger children (18 months–6 years) need an adult with them.
What should we wear and bring?
Clothes you don't mind getting messy. It can be cooler in the woods, so a jumper is a good idea, and long trousers and sleeves mean fewer scrapes on knees.
