How Our Community Is Growing a New Future for Food and Farming

Sep 27, 2025

At My Little Farm, we believe that the future of food lies not in the hands of corporations, but in the hands of people.

People who care deeply about what they eat, where it comes from, and the land that makes it possible.

And over the past months, something extraordinary has begun to unfold within our growing community: a gathering of individuals from all walks of life, coming together to shape a shared vision for a better way to live and eat.

The Collective Wisdom of the Community

When we recently asked our members to share their skills, knowledge and passions, what came back was nothing short of inspiring.

Among them are growers and gardeners, builders and craftspeople, teachers, nutritionists, and wellbeing practitioners, and people with experience in ecology, tech, and regenerative farming.

Others bring talents in event hosting, design, storytelling, finance, law and community building.

And many simply said: “I’m not sure what my specific skills are, but I’d love to help.”

It’s this blend of practical know-how, creative thinking, and open-hearted willingness that makes the My Little Farm community so special.

Each person adds something essential, and together, we’re building something far greater than any of us could achieve alone.

From Shared Vision to Collective Action

Our goal has always been simple: to make smallholding life accessible and to create a network of farms where people and Earth thrive together.

But what’s emerging now is a powerful new layer to that vision; a living, breathing community capable of shaping its own future.

We’re now beginning to form community-led subgroups within the project. These groups will bring members together around key parts of our mission, from land regeneration and ecological design, to education, wellbeing, food production, and community events.

Through these, members will be able to contribute their time and skills, take part in shaping the farm network, and even receive rewards in return for their contributions.

Because when we pool our knowledge, creativity, and resources — real change becomes possible.

Why This Matters

We live in a time when many people feel disconnected; from the land, from their food, and often from each other.

But My Little Farm is proving that a different story is possible.

By coming together as co-owners and contributors, we are reclaiming food sovereignty, rebuilding resilience, and reminding ourselves that community is not a luxury, but the foundation of a thriving life.

An Invitation to Join Us

If this vision speaks to you, if you’ve ever felt the pull to reconnect with the land, to grow real food, or to be part of something meaningful, we’d love to welcome you in.

You don’t need to be a farmer. You don’t need to have all the answers.

You just need to care, and to want to be part of creating a more grounded, regenerative future.

This is your invitation to step inside the My Little Farm movement; to learn, contribute, and grow alongside a community of people who believe that the power to change the world begins right where we stand, together.
